I am not the same young man that entered prison many years. I have matured into a 51 year old man who has spent the last three decades accepting responsibility for my actions, learning to love myself and others, and doing what I can to prepare myself to reenter society: either via parole yearly or when I max out. I long for a special friend; someone who believes she can be a light of hope in my life despite my incarceration; someone who believes that healthy relationships are made of matching values, emotional maturity, loyalty, open communication and trust.
