Dear Ladies,
My name is Prentiss, and I’ve been incarcerated for 17 long years, with 3 years left to serve. All this time, it’s been my inner strength, which has given me the power to maintain my sanity, especially when you consider the unnatural and unfavorable conditions I’ve had to endure. I was convicted for the kidnapping of a drug dealer; his name is “Darron”, yea, water head “Bo Bennett’s” brother; unfortunately Bo is in federal prison as well. Anyway, Darron and his buddy “Twin (Darnel)” faithfully came to court against my crimes and me. The evidence used to convict me, was no more than a basket full of words, no one connected to the incident was hurt; nevertheless, I received 31 years-to-life, and at the tender age of 25, I was sent to prison. Today, I’m 44 year old man, I have a comfortable education, financially, I’m self-sufficient, my hobbies include any and all sports, and in my spare time, I craft from different types of paper, colorful purses, handbags and clutches. This hobby in particular was motivated by my propensity to help lift to the highest levels in life, the self-esteem and spirits of a lady.
I’m 6’ 1 ½”, well built, dark & handsome, with a million dollar smile. I just completed writing the greatest love story ever told, titled, “Fallacious,” a story about a nerd that gave up his life to try and change the world. I’ve maintained my focused and have stayed the course in pursuit of my liberty, as well as, I’ve developed a sincere regard for knowledge and the love of self. To trust, value, honor, and respect myself as a man, has given me the ability to reach out to others. Ladies, even though I don’t know you personally, nevertheless, I am deeply concerned that society will continue to misguide [you] a fellow traveler, in the wrong direction. Due to being consumed by self, false pride, and arrogance, you may miss my message, but don’t trip, I’ve been humbled by this experience and I truly desire to help answer your questions, for direct response or donations, write to me at my address above.
I’m looking for that special friend, who’s courageous enough to open her heart to my up lifting spirit and powerful message. I believe that all women are beautiful, unique, and talented in a very special way; of course, it’s a gift from God, or, well, it just maybe God sent me to help you find that special you, [smile]. Ladies, I’m human and I get depressed at times, but I move on, because I’ve got too. God requires this of me. I grew up in poverty, I didn’t have a father around, but I’m not looking for any sympathy, God has done a pretty good job at being the father! Everyone has a story to tell, most times, a frustrating tale, but we all have to get over it, no matter how bad it might seem. Many women are still hurting because of the negative things they’ve suffered in their past. It’s all right, talk to me; together we can help each other, to let go and give birth to a new and up lifting beginning.
We can’t keep doing the same things and expecting different results. Prison has taught me that there’s only one book that provides true instructions on how to live in this life, and it’s called the Bible. With it, I’ve found that wisdom is to learn from your mistakes, however, a wise man will learn from the mistakes of others, so he will avoid them happening to him. This is the type of enlightenment that has made me a better man. I tried to take a short cut to heaven, only to have arrived in hell. In the beginning, I thought it was God that did me wrong, but after years in this prison, along with a thousand hours of unobstructed thoughts, and digging deep within myself, I found the culprit of my social demise to be the one and only me...my disobedience. Now, I’ve been
blessed with the love of God, and my heart has been set free, to do and act accordingly.
In closing; I just want to tell you, that there is a better way, with some patience and compassion, you can help me and I can help you, everything in the world that God created, is done in duality. When God commanded Noah, it was to bring two of every kind. It takes you and I to be the reason, to be complete. You have to believe that there is a better way of life, and in order to find it, conduct a self-analysis of your own assets. When you find your vision becoming blurred, seek out your spiritual nature, it’s the only prescription that will clear things up, and get you traveling down the right path of life again.
I must tell you, these institutions are designed to lock us away and keep us from self-growth, self-development, and creating atmospheres that threaten our ability to institute self-love. If the seed of love never gets planted in the right soil, there will never be roots to anchor us down, the roots that helps us to withstand the storm. I need you; to help me, plant this seed of love.
