Someone once told me. . . “Every passing moment, is a second chance to turn it all around!”
I still have some work to do, but I’m proud to say, “I’ve come a long way!” I’m from Chicago, my family and I are all members of the Oneida Tribe of Indians of Wisconsin. I have a wonderful mother, who I have a fantastic relationship with, as well as an older sister and a younger brother. We’ve been through a lot together, somehow they all continue to find the patience and strength to love and support me every step of the way. I’ll be completing my Associate Degree in July 2008. I’m into sports, music and reading, but my real true passion is poetry. I hope to someday be able to share my writings with the world.
I’m honest, sincere, thoughtful, and caring. I also have a great sense of humor. I’ve worked very hard to become the person that I am today. Thanks to a little growing up, a very supportive family, and a whole lot of faith, I’m able to really appreciate my blessing, and be proud of who I’ve become. I haven’t always been able to say that. I’m looking for pen pals. Someone I can talk to, express my thoughts with, and write poetry to. Someone smart, open minded and patient. I’m looking for a true friendship!
Sincerely Yours,
David
SEASONS
How quickly seasons seem to change,
As feelings switch from joy to pain,
In spring there’s flowers, birds, and rain,
Prepares us for the summers flames,
Summer—time is fun and games,
Auburn leaves as autumn came,
Cupid’s ready, arrows aimed,
Reluctant still, your hearts been stained,
Winters greeted with soft disdain,
The fireplace frames a flickering flame,
It feels so strange,
Who’s to blame?
You fell in love as seasons changed!
